The exhibition will present part of the results of a project based on tracing the locations of real landscape painting models and old landscape photographs and interpreting landscape changes in the area of South Moravia and the Moravian Carpathians. While these changes are usually studied with the help of old and more recent maps, or aerial and satellite images, the project uses knowledge about the occurrence and distribution of plants from pictorial documents - landscape paintings, graphics and photographs. The authors of the presented paintings include Joža Uprka, Alois Kalvoda, Vladimír Vašíček, Vladimír Hroch, Stanislav Lolek and Alois Schneiderka.
