Collages and objects from the collection of personalities of the world sport, tennis players Jana Kukal.
The exhibition from the private collection will introduce an important poet, artist, experimenter, leading personality of Czech culture. Jiří Kolář was the organizer art Group 42. From the 1960s he concentrated on the method of collage, and created new variants of this technique. As signatories to Charter 77, the Czechoslovak authorities refused to prolong the visa and Jiří Kolář remained in exile in France. Here he lived with his wife Běla until the year 1998, when he returned to his homeland.
Our exposition is supplemented by manuscript fragments, which are directly expressed his own art work, manuscripts are borrowed from the memorial of the national literature in Prague. A portrait of Jiří Kolář from the year 1947 is from Kamila Lhotáka. This painting is lent from the museum Kampa, the foundation of Jan and Medy Mládkových Foundation.
