Pospíšil is a glossator of human life. In his paintings he captures, with slight exaggeration and a kind humor, motives of what surrounds him and is himself a part of. Large colorful surfaces are inhabited by only a few rough brushstrokes of figures, often indicating the direction of their past or future movement. Its narrativeness is the opposite of capturing of a moment–its endeavor is to capture life itself in motion and in its full complexity of relationships and mutual interactions.
